New Mexico Music Workers (NMMW) is a collective of individuals who work in the field of music, and more broadly, performing arts. All who resonate with our movement are welcome to join our conversation and use resources provided here.
To support and advocate for music workers living in rural and urban communities in New Mexico through development of resources and networks by and for music workers. NMMW resources aim to provide transparency, education, and mutual understanding between all music workers and the public. NMMW seeks to cultivate a mentality of abundance, where music workers collaborate to create innovative models that support equitable and sustainable music careers.
We envision a music industry with fair compensation, protections from discrimination, and supportive relationships between music workers across the field. We envision an ever-growing community of consumers that value and support music workers in New Mexico.
